Woman Gets DWI For Driving Drunk To Courthouse

CNY Central reported that in Oneonta, New York, a woman received a DWI and was arrested for driving drunk to a courthouse. According to the news story, police officials received a phone call from a witness, stating that an intoxicated woman  was walking inside the court house and then getting into her car and trying to drive away. The drunk woman, Carolyn Murray, was stopped by a town constable as she tried to reverse. It was then that the constable gave her a breathalyzer test, which determined that  she had a blood alcohol content level of .17%- almost twice the legal drinking limit. Murray, 45 years old, was arrested and charged with a DWI. No further information was released pertaining Murray’s legal situation or DWI.
