Naked Drunk Driver Hits Her Naked Fiancé with Car

Naked Drunk Driver Runs Her Car Into Her Naked Fiancé

On Thursday morning, a naked drunk driver ran her car into her naked fiancé. The unidentified 22-year-old woman struck Alberto Giovanni Bravo with a Honda Civic just past midnight on Phelan Road. Bravo allegedly got out of the car and the woman moved into the driver’s seat. When Bravo walked in front of the car, the woman accelerated and hit him. Bravo landed on the hood and she quickly hit the brakes and lost control of the vehicle.

The car then sped across the street until it crashed into a chain-link fence. Bravo suffered major injuries after being thrown from the hood; he was airlifted to Antelope Valley hospital and the woman suffered minor injuries, and was taken to Desert Valley Hospital.

The woman was arrested for felony DUI causing injury. She is currently in Victor Valley Jail. “Part of this investigation is of a sensitive nature and still under investigation,” said CHP spokesman Matt Hunt. “Until that portion of the investigation is cleared up, we will be holding off on releasing the name.”

Lawyer Charged with DUI Might Bring Mistrial

Lawyer Charged with DUI Might Bring Mistrial

abc NEWS reported that a civil case “between two of the biggest radio names in the Tampa Bay, Florida area took an odd turn last week when an attorney representing one of the DJs ended up behind bars for alleged DUI, in what his legal team calls a setup.”

Charles Campbell, who is legally representing and defending Todd “MJ” Schnitt’s case against Bubba “The Love Sponge” Clem, was arrested on Wednesday at Malio’s Prime Steakhouse in Tampa for suspicion of DUI. Campbell had been at the restaurant’s bar with a paralegal, Melissa Personius. It was determined that Personius works for the law firm of Clem’s attorney. Strong accusations from Schnitt’s defense team have been made against Clem’s attorneys, stating that “Personius tricked Campbell into getting arrested.”

John Ellis, one of Schnitt’s legal representatives, stated “Personius lied to Mr. Campbell, or me, when we asked her where she worked…she bought him drinks. She specifically, we believe, asked him to move her car.” Furthermore, Schnitt’s defense team stated that Clem’s team of lawyers could have gotten a legal advantage because Campbell left his briefcase with important documents in the paralegal’s car.

In addition, police officials testified that someone from Clem’s legal team called them to report and arrest Campbell for his DUI. Schnitt’s legal representatives have pleaded for a mistrial on suspicion that the publicity on Campbell’s arrest might influence the jury’s decision.  On Friday, the judge decided that more evidence and research was needed before making a final decision on the mistrial plead. It was stated that Clem was disappointed about the occurrence, stating “It’s like a ‘South Park’ episode…quite frankly, I’m getting a little tired of it.”

News sources reported that Shannon D. Hill, an assistant principal from Jones Paideia Magnet School in Nashville, Tennessee, was “charged with his second DUI last night.” Hill, 37 years old, was also charged with a DUI last April after police officials saw him driving at more than 100 miles per hour on I-65.

Class Action DUI Lawsuit

Class Action Lawsuit Claims Corporal Lisa Steed May Have Made Hundreds of Falsified DUI Arrests

A class action lawsuit has been filed against Utah Highway Patrol Trooper Lisa Steed, a police officer who has been accused of potentially hundreds of wrongful DUI charges, causing the victims thousands of dollars in fines, emotional trauma, impounded property and in some cases lost jobs. Trooper Steed was fired in November. One of Steed’s alleged victims, Thomas Romero, said, “That night when I got pulled over, lost my truck, lost everything I have, my motor home, everything. That hurts.” Lisa Steed is currently under investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

Romero was stopped over a burned out bulb over his license plate. Steed arrested him for drunk driving, and toxicology tests later showed his BAC was zero. Other victims shared similar stories; Julie Tapia claims that she does not drink at all but was arrested for drunk driving.

Davis County district attorney Troy Rawlings said he would dismiss all cases in which Steed was the primary or sole investiator, and a D.A. for Salt Lake County said he would not prosecute cases involving Steed. In a 2010 police memo, a sergeant reviewed 20 of Steed’s marijuana-impairment cases and found that the drivers arrested did not have any THC or drugs in their system.

DUI Suspect Breaks Small Table over the Back of Arresting Officer

DUI Suspect Breaks Small Table over the Back of Arresting Officer

Keith Vincent Stout, 52, was arrested for DUI on Christmas Day, but he is also facing second-degree assault charges because he is being accused of attacking his arresting officer. Court papers claim that when Stout was being booked on his DUI charges at the Leonardtown barrack’s troopers’ room, he broken a fan stand over the back of Sgt. Steven B. Koch. Stout admitted to drinking and driving when police stopped his van on the night of his arrest, and he also let the police know that he had formerly served as a law enforcement officer with the Department of Defense security force at Joint Base Andrews.

Stout claims that he could have “lost [his] life that night” and said that he was pulled out of his van, was slammed into the hood of a police cruiser, and then slammed against the back of his vehicle. He said he repeatedly asked to be taken to jail, but instead was taken to the police barrack.

Arresting trooper Eric Reuschling filed a statement which said that he had probable cause for DUI considering Stout refused a field sobriety test and an intoximeter reading when they returned to the barrack. The statement says that Stout became “more and more irate” before Koch came in to maintain the peace. The statement says that when Koch asked Reuschling a question, Stout “picked up a fan on a five-foot stand and broke the stand in half over Koch’s back.”

Stout said he was handcuffed, grabbed by his neck, and thrown across the room into a table. He said he was kicked and knocked to the floor, and kicked repeatedly before being dragged to the jail. Stout denies the alleged attack, saying, “How did I assault somebody while I was handcuffed? I never assaulted the police officers. That fan probably got broke while they were doing what they wanted to do to me behind that door.”

Stout will be in court in March on the assault charge, and he has filed a complaint against the officers which is under investigation.

Crocs Cofounder Finally Pleads Guilty to DUI

Crocs Cofounder Finally Pleads Guilty to DUI

Sources stated that George Boedecker Jr., cofounder of Crocs Inc., finally decided to plead guilty for his DUI arrest that occurred in August. Boedecker, 51 years old, had been stopped by Boulder police officials in Colorado “after witnesses called them to say a man was sleeping behind the wheel of a running Porsche in the 3400 block of 22nd Street.”

Boedecker, who had previously denied any charges, admitted to the courts that he had been “driving under the influence with a blood alcohol concentration of 0.2 or above, meaning his blood alcohol level was more than twice the DUI threshold of 0.08.” Boulder County District Attorney’s Office stated that Judge Karolyn Moore gave Boedecker a penalty of two years of probation, which includes 30 days of in-home detention in Tennessee with electronic monitoring and other strict conditions.

In addition, Boedecker is also liable for paying a $600 fine and undergoing some alcohol treatment.  On Thursday, Boedecker released a public statement taking responsibility for the charges. He told the media, “I have pleaded guilty to the charges, and I accept responsibility for my actions and the resulting consequences. I am prepared to honor my legal obligations and accept my sentence.”.
