Bobby Brown Pleads “Not Guilty” to His Third DUI

Bobby Brown Pleads “Not Guilty” to His Third DUI

TMZ reported that Bobby Brown pleaded “not guilty” to his most recent and third DUI arrest. If Brown is convicted on the new DUI charges, he will be imprisoned for at least two years. Brown was currently on probation from last month’s DUI.

During October, he was charged with a DUI after California police officials arrested him for driving uncontrollably and detecting alcohol in his breath. In addition, Brown was also charged for “driving on a restricted license and driving a vehicle without a vehicle interlock device (a breathalyzer device that prevents your car from starting if you’ve had something to drink).” Brown had also received charges for a DUI during 1996.

It was determined that “the judge revoked his probation as a result of the most recent arrest, but released the singer today on his own recognizance.” However, Brown’s drivers license was suspended and he was demanded to attend AA sessions. He is summoned to a pre-trial next month.

Ditka’s Son Tests Positive for Drugs While Waiting for DUI Trial

Ditka's Son Tested Positive for Drugs While Waiting for DUI Trial

According to sources, Mark E. Ditka, tested positive for opiates during a pre-trial screening that occurred this Friday. Ditka is the son of former Chicago Bears coach, Mike Ditka. In addition to that, Ditka is currently facing DUI and drug possession charges from a recent arrest.

Officials from Lake County noted that “the positive drug test by 49-year-old Mark Ditka could result in his bond being revoked and the Deerfield man being jailed while his drunk driving and drug cases proceed.” Judge Brian Hughes proceeded with the DUI hearing until Tuesday.

However, he strictly instructed Ditka to  provide the court with proof of documentation to account for the opiates. Hughes warned him, “You’re going to have a lot of trouble with the court if you can’t verify that prescription.” Hughes adjourned the proceedings for more than two hours after  Ditka proclaimed that he had a medical prescription for the opiates that were detected in the drug test. However, Ditka was unable to obtain any documentation from his pharmacy and failed to present evidence to the courts. He blamed the pharmacy’s computer system for failing to provide a prescription and claimed, “I swear on my children’s lives I have a prescription.”

Drunk Driver Blames His DUI on Obama's Re-Election

On Monday evening, Reginald Arnez Roberson was stopped by Florida deputies from St. Johns County. Roberson, a resident from Palm Coast, Florida, was driving a 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer when deputies stopped him for driving 35 mph over the speed limit and speeding through a red light.

According to statements from the police report, “when deputies pulled over the car…Roberson couldn’t find his driver’s license and almost fell to the ground when exiting his car and had to be held up numerous times by the deputy.” Sources claim that when Roberson was getting arrested, he told the deputies: “just take me to jail. I know I had too much to drink.”

Supposedly, Roberson then became very aggressive and told one of the deputies that the only reason he stopped him was “because he was black…and the deputy ‘was mad Obama won’…and that he was ‘dumb redneck’…” In addition, he swore and threatened to cause harm to the deputy’s family. It was determined that this was Roberson’s fourth time admitted to St. Johns County Jail.

Howard can be seen in a traffic camera speeding out of a Whole Foods market parking lot before hitting a median, momentarily becoming airborne, and eventually crashing into another vehicle. Paul McDonald, 78, was driving the car that Howard hit, causing his car to then crash into a truck passing by. QB Colt Brennan Pleads Not Guilty In DUI Case

QB Colt Brennan Pleads Not Guilty In DUI Case

colt brennanColt Brennan, a former quarterback with the University of Hawaii has plead not-guilty after being charged with DUI earlier this year. On July 25, 2012, the former Warriors quarterback in Kailua, Hawaii was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. According to the police report, a small bag with cocaine residue was also found in the rented car that Brennan was driving, however, prosecutors opted not to pursue drug charges due to lack of evidence that the bag belonged to him. Brennan did not appear in court to enter the plea of not-guilty, instead, attorney Maria Carmichael entered the plea on behalf of him and his main attorney Michael Green.

Colt Brennan has had a rough couple of years following his exceptional performance at the University of Hawaii. In 2008, he was the 6th round draft pick and was recruited by the Washington Redskins. Brennan never played a regular season game though and was on injured reserve during 2009 when he had surgery on his knee. After leaving the Redskins, Brennan went on to play for the Canadian Football League’s Saskatchewan Roughriders, but was cut just one month before his arrest in June. While playing in Hawaii, Colt Brennan set 31 NCAA records, throwing 58 touchdown passes in 2006 alone, averaging 387.9 yards per game. Brennan has attributed his behavior to a sense of disappointment in himself after a troublesome professional football career. Apparently, Brennan is still suffering from a head on crash from 2010 that has caused both physical and emotional pain.
