Linda Hogan, the ex-wife of famous wrestler and TV personality-Hulk Hogan, was imprisoned yesterday in Malibu on suspicion of DUI. California Law enforcement personnel claimed that Hogan “was arrested at 1:34 AM Thursday morning and taken to a nearby police station where she was booked and put behind bars. She was released several hours later on $5,000 bail.” In addition to receiving the DUI charge, Hogan was also arrested for driving with a suspended license. On her prison booking sheet, she was listed with an age of 53 years old, height of 5’7″, and weight of 160 lbs.

Hogan’s representative told TMZ that Hogan “was on her way home from a function in L.A. where she drank a glass of champagne on an empty stomach…she has also been on antibiotics and the drugs exacerbated the effects of the alcohol.”

She was primarily stopped by officials for speeding. It was not identified whether Linda  was the only passenger in the vehicle. It has also been said that the Hogan family has been under a lot of stress lately due to the sex tape scandal they are currently dealing with.

Billie Joe of Greenday Enters Rehab

Billie Joe, the lead singer of the popular punk-rock band Greenday, is headed to a rehabilitation facility for substance abuse after a public meltdown at the iHeartRadio festival in Las Vegas, Nevada. On September 21, 2012, Greenday was set to perform at the festival but later found out that their set had been cut from 45 minutes to 25 to make room for another popular musician “Usher”. Apparently the band didn’t take that news too well and in the middle of their performance, Billie Joe, the lead singer, made his frustrations known when a prompter at the back of the auditorium signaled that they had 1 minute remaining.

**WARNING** The following video contains strong language

Billie Joe stopped playing and shouted out, “One minute left, one minute f**king left. You’re gonna give me f**king one minute? … I’m not f**king Justin Bieber, you mother f**kers!“. After the singer finished his rant, he grabbed his guitar and began smashing it on the stage until it broke in half. The band later released a statement through the Associated Press apologizing to anyone offended by their actions at the iHeartRadio Festival. It is still unclear what Billie Joe is receiving treatment for with initial reports stating he has been struggling with alcohol abuse. The punk singer has had alcohol problems in the past, receiving a DUI in 2003 and admitting to using drugs in the past which he says he has long since quit.

Nick Fairley Of Detroit Lions Avoiding DUI Trial

Nick Fairley, a defensive tackle with the Detroit Lions is requesting a pre-trial diversion program that would help him to avoid facing charges for his May 27 DUI arrest. If Fairley is approved for the program, he could avoid the possibility of facing a $600 fine, a year of probation and possible jail time. On May 27, 2012, Nick Fairley was charged with DUI and attempting to elude police in Mobile, Alabama. Apparently, Fairly was driving at around 100 mph and did not initially pull over when the officer began to pursue him.

Pre-trial diversion programs are common for first time DUI offenders and Fairley’s attorney, Sid Harrell, officially submitted paperwork requesting his client be allowed to attend the anti-DUI course. However, Fairley could still face disciplinary action by the NFL with Commissioner Roger Goodell stating he still holds the right to suspend Fairley for his pattern of conduct off the field this past year. Fairley was also charged with possession of marijuana last November 27 in Mobile, Alabama. Nick Fairley remains upbeat and has continued to work hard, telling reporters “I’m just coming in every day, working hard and not really just thinking about it” and “I’m glad to be out there on the field“.

Amanda Bynes Skips L.A. Court Appearance

Amanda Bynes Skips L.A. Court Appearance

Amanda Bynes was due in court today in Los Angeles for a hearing regarding 2 hit-and-run incidents, but chose instead to stay at a safe distance, shopping in New York. Apparently, the actress spent a couple of hours shopping and dining alone at the Cafe Habana. Fueling rumors of odd behavior were several witnesses who claimed the actress spent over 25 minutes in a bathroom, by herself, which she has done before on her outings at clothing stores. Her attorney, Richard Hutton, entered a not-guilty plea on Bynes’ behalf and the case is due back in court on October 19, 2012.

Amanda Bynes is being accused by prosecutors of fleeing the scene after two separate hit-and-run accidents without exchanging insurance information. Bynes has also been accused of drunk driving when she grazed a sheriffs patrol vehicle. Another troubled star, Lindsay Lohan, took to her Twitter account and publicly vented her frustration at the fact that she was treated more harshly during legal troubles. Now, Lohan’s mom, Dina is giving free advice to Amanda Bynes’ parents saying, “Just be around“. While speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Dina Lohan said, “You know, I’m a mother, and I feel that that’s for her mother to speak about, and not me, because people have spoken for my child and myself, so I really feel that’s for her parents to discuss and Amanda herself“.

Cameron Lynn WWE Star Plead’s Not-Guitly In DUI Case

Cameron Lynn, a popular wrestling star with the WWE has plead not-guilty to a DUI charge she received earlier this year. On August 24, 2012, the eccentric wrestler was arrested in Tampa, Florida after having blown a .20% during a breathalyzer test, more than double the state’s legal limit of .08%. Lynn is now claiming that she was not driving drunk despite the breathalyzer results. Apparently, Lynn also tried to bribe her arresting officer’s with $10,000 in exchange for them not taking her to jail. She claimed that if she was arrested for DUI, her bosses at the WWE would fire her.

Cameron Lynn was suspended, but not fired, for 15 days. The suspension started on August 31 and ended on September 14, 2012. Other wrestlers, such as Alex Riley and Jimmy Uso have also received DUI’s but were not suspended by the WWE. The big difference and more likely the reason for Cameron Lynn being suspended was the fact that she tried to bribe the police. According to the police report, Lynn also tried to hide the fact that she worked for the WWE, claiming that she was a sale’s associate with Well’s Fargo. The suspension also affected her wrestling group “Funkadactyls” and partner Naomi Knight when the company decided to pull the act from shows during her suspension period.

Amanda Bynes Pleads “Not Guilty” to Hit-and-Run Charges

In Van Nuys, Los Angeles, Amanda Bynes pleaded “not guilty” on two misdemeanor hit-and-run charges that occurred April 10 and August 4. In consequence, Bynes’ driver’s license was suspended August 25, and she was arrested on April 6 due to DUI. The hit-and-run case is due back in court October 19 and the DUI trial date has been set for October 29.

Supposedly, Amanda Bynes is currently in New York in an attempt to escape the paparazzi flash in LA. While in New York, she made a 2 hour visit to the Little Cupcake Bakeshop, where claims have been made that she locked herself up in the bathroom for 30 minutes. When a firefighter tried to communicate with her through the door, she did not respond for about 15 minutes. In addition, sources claim that “police were called regarding an OK to break down the door, but then Bynes emerged as if nothing had happened.” Bynes responded by saying, “Excuse me, I was doing my makeup.”

This bizarre event was similar to another situation that occurred in a dressing room at West Hollywood boutique Kin, where Bynes spent nearly 2 hours. The boutique’s clerk claimed that “banging noises were heard from the room about every 10 minutes.” Another employee had to be called to help with the incident, but Bynes just responded by saying that she needed more time.

Amanda Bynes could be headed to rehab as part of a deal to avoid jail time for the DUI charge she received earlier this year. Apparently, Bynes has decided to commit to a 30 day in-patient treatment program at an undisclosed rehab facility in Southern California which she would check in to on either Tuesday or Wednesday. The decision comes after a series of odd run-in’s with authorities spanning several months which include an arrest for DUI, 2 hit and runs as well as being photographed driving with a suspended licensed while smoking marijuana. By committing to a treatment program, Amanda Bynes could avoid being sentenced to jail for her DUI.

Her uncle commented on the situation saying, “She needs help. “(Her father) doesn’t want to talk about her and often changes the subject. Amanda Bynes In Another Accident With Suspended License

Amanda Bynes In Another Accident With Suspended License

Amanda Bynes seems to be continuing her downward spiral after being involved in another small car accident on September 13, 2012. After having her driver’s license suspended, the actress has been spotted several times driving around the San Fernando Valley apparently smoking marijuana in her car with a pipe designed to look like a cigarette lighter. The accident happened just hours after a judge ordered her to stop driving as part of an investigation into several other car accidents as well as a DUI charge.

Apparently, Bynes rear-ended another car in a parking lot on Sunset Boulevard, however, her and the other driver did not exchange insurance information. The accident was a small fender bender and TMZ is reporting that she merely tapped the bumper of another car which might explain why the other driver didn’t feel it was necessary to exchange information. Police were quoted by TMZ as having said that the “the public should be afraid of her” and that her driving “scares the shit” out of them. Several sources have apparently told TMZ reporters that “She’s obviously crying out for help, but isn’t ready to receive it” and that “She seems to be having some serious mental health issues“.
