According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office, the rapper was held on $5,000 bail and released shortly after. After being released from jail, Anderson told reporters,
“I was just riding home late and got into a little trouble with the law. It is what it is. It happens sometimes. I’m cool now. I’m going home”.
The rapper has never had any prior drunk driving offenses and when asked if he’d be getting a driver before driving home drunk again he responded, “Yeah, that’s the best thing to do”.

The Huntington Beach city council has voted against a proposal that would have allowed the police department to post mug shots on Facebook of those arrested for DUI in California. One council member had recommended posting the names and faces of repeat drunk driving offenders on the social networking site in an effort to shame them into changing their behavior. His original goal was to post photos of all accused of DUI in California.
