Britney Spears Passes DUI Test

Britney SpearsBritney Spears was involved in a minor accident in stop-and-go traffic on the Ventura freeway Saturday night, though police confirm it was not a case of California DUI. The pop star crashed her 2008 Mercedes SLK into a 2006 Nissan around 8:15 pm, pushing it into another car. In keeping with police procedure in an accident investigation a breath test was administered, which Spears passed. That cleared her of suspicion of drunk driving in LA and no citations were issued for the accident.

The 21-year male driver of the Nissan said that Spears was applying make-up at the time of the accident. After being released, Spears went out to dinner with her mother, though her bodyguard drove the vehicle.

In the past two years Spears has been photographed driving with her son in her lap, a violation of seat belt laws, was involved in a misdemeanor hit-and-run accident in a parking lot and charged with a misdemeanor for driving without a valid driver
