Mischa Barton has said that her arrest for Driving Under the Influence in Los Angeles was a low point in her life that she will never forget. Her 2007 arrest for drunk driving led to a guilty plea and three years of probation. Barton, 22, regrets her poor judgment and expressed disappointment in now being grouped with other celebrity females nabbed for drinking and driving in Southern California. The list includes <a href="http://www.dui.com/dui-library/celebrities/lindsay-lohan"Lindsay Lohan, Nicole Richie, Khloe Kardashian and Paris Hilton.
Barton is the third celebrity in the span of a week to express remorse for a California DUI arrest. Nicole Richie said she hopes to set a better example for her 5-month old daughter, and Kiefer Sutherland announced his arrest was a “dumb mistake”.
