Amanda Bynes Asking Obama For DUI Help
Amanda Bynes, the actress you may best know for her roles on the TV sitcom “What I Like About You” as well as her movie roles in “Easy A” and “Hairspray” is in trouble with the law, again. Bynes has been involved in two separate hit and run accidents, one involving an L.A. County Sheriff and has taken to twitter account asking the President for help. Her tweet to the President read, “Hey @BarackObama…I don’t drink. Please fire the cop who arrested me. I also don’t hit and run. The end.”
Authorities have re-opened Bynes’s first hit and run case in which a woman claims the actress backed into her Toyota before claiming there wasn’t any significant damage and leaving the scene without exchanging insurance or calling the police. The woman claims there were over $800 in damages to her Toyota although Bynes says that her and the woman came to a mutual understanding that their was no significant damage. On the night that Bynes hit the corner of a sheriffs cruiser, she refused to take a field sobriety test and was arrested for DUI. Amanda Bynes has taken to her Twitter account several times since being released stating, “I can’t help but laugh at all of you writing fake stories about me,” and “I was not in any hit and runs. I don’t drink so the DUI is false.”
If convicted of hit and run involving DUI, Bynes could face up to 6 months in jail for each count.
