Miss Arizona Teen Accepts Plea Deal In DUI Case

Miss Arizona Teen USA 2010, Tori Vance, was arrested on past May 5, 2012 for DUI in Los Angeles. Police initially pulled Vance over for making an illegal U-turn and suspected she might be driving under the influence of alcohol. Police then proceeded to issue a series of roadside field sobriety tests, which Vance failed. The Miss Arizona winner apparently had a blood alcohol content(BAC) level over the legal limit of .08%, but it’s not known by how much.

Vance had initially pleaded not guilty, but has reached a plea deal with prosecutors that keeps her out of jail. Vance is a first time offender and in return for pleading “no contest”, prosecutors have dropped the charges for DUI. Instead of jail time, the former Miss Arizona received 3 years probation. Vance is due to compete in the Miss California pageant in 2013 and won her first pageant in Arizona at age 16.
