Wrong-way Drunk Driving in California Kills 6 People

6 Killed by 21-year-old Drunk Driver

Three people have been identified from the early Sunday morning wrong-way crash which killed 6 people. The California Highway Patrol tweeted the picture shown which shows the wreckage involving three vehicles. The female driver who caused the crash was reportedly driving the wrong way down the freeway and hit another vehicle head-on. Two of the victims were 24-year-old women and one of the victims was a 47-year-old man. Olivia Culbreath, 21, has been arrested for suspicion of felony DUI and felony manslaughter. She is in serious but stable condition at the L.A. County Medical Center with a broken femur and a ruptured bladder.

Witnesses reported that Culbreath was driving over 100 miles per house. Someone tweeted after the crash that one of the six victims was Culbreath’s own sister. The L.A. Times reported that calls to police were “pouring in” about a vehicle driving the wrong way.
