Trailer Park Reality Start Amanda Adams Gets DUI
Amanda Adams, the trailer park reality star on TLC’s “Welcome to Myrtle Manor”, was arrested on suspicion of DUI on April 26, 2013 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. According to police, the incident occurred early Friday morning when Adams allegedly crashed her vehicle into an electric pole head-on. When police stumbled on the Myrtle Manor star’s damaged Jeep near a downed telephone pole, they asked how much she had to drink, to which she replied “three beers and four shots“.
Police proceeded to conduct an alcohol breathalyzer test on Adams which showed her blood alcohol content (BAC) level to be .20%, more than double the state’s legal limit of .08%. Police arrested the reality star and took her to a nearby jail where she was later released on a $1,229.50 bond. Amanda Adams, who found reality TV fame on the popular TLC show apparently works in a hot dog food truck and describes herself as a “turtle hunting redneck“. Adams is scheduled to appear in court on May 27, 2013.
