Car Bashing California Style – A California man was arrested for DUI after he hit five parked cars with his Lamborghini, resulting in a scene strewn with auto parts. Witnesses say the man was racing up and down the street before crashing.

Room Service in Indiana – After driving erratically through a parking lot, Michael J. DeWitt, 39, of Fort Wayne, parked and entered a building where he announced he wanted "to get a room." Unfortunately he had walked into an Indiana State Police station rather than the adjacent Holiday Inn. After charging him with a Indiana DUI, police traced DeWitt’s vehicle to a nearby hit and run accident.

Breaking the Seal in New York – Randy L. Parker pulled up to a Watertown convenience store around 1:00 in the morning, walked to the front of his car and started urinating. The car in the next parking spot was a New York State Police cruiser. Parker, 45, failed a field sobriety test and was charged with New York DWI.

More Honesty in Florida – Craig Shelton, 38, was stopped by the Florida Highway patrol after being spotted driving erratically. After initially failing to respond to flashing police lights, Shelton locked up his brakes, pulled over and tossed his keys into the bed of his pick-up truck. When asked for his driver’s license, he confessed that he didn’t have one, adding that it had been suspended. During a field sobriety test, Shelton stopped and said, “Just call it a DUI, man. You got me.” He later asked the trooper if he had found his ‘weed’. Shelton was arrested for Florida DUI, driving with a suspended license and possession of marijuana.
