Sally Struthers, 65, the actress best known for her role on the hit show “All in the Family” was arrested on September 12, 2012 for DUI. Struthers was arrested at around 12:30 a.m. while driving in Ogunquit, Maine where she also performs at the Ogunquit Playhouse in the play “9 to 5” made famous by Dolly Parton. Struthers was arrested at the scene and released on $160 bail shortly after.

In Maine, a DUI is also known as an OWI(Operating While Intoxicated) and first time offenders could face a 90 day driver’s license suspension as well as a $500 fine. Sally Struthers is not expected to receive any jail time as this is only her first offense. Apparently, Struthers and her agent have denied the charges and are focusing more on the actress continuing her work at the playhouse. Sally Struthers has also been known for her work with the Christian Children’s Fund, which she is the spokesperson for.
