Road Rage Incident Leads to Assault and Texas DWI in Fort Worth

Fort Worth police arrested three people early Monday morning after a road rage incident that left one man injured. An unidentified motorist was approaching his exit on Interstate 35W around 3:00 in the morning when he said he tapped his brakes to get rid of a tailgater. The gray Honda Civic behind him pulled next to him, rolled down the window and fired a shotgun. The victim was hit in the face and neck though he was able to stop his car and notify police. The vehicle description he provided lead to the stop of the Honda.

Police found two men and a woman in the vehicle, along with a shotgun. The driver was charged with driving while intoxicated in Texas. The male passenger was arrested for outstanding warrants. The female was also detained. The three could face more charges, including assault.
