Oz Actor, Michael Wright, Arrested for DWI

Michael Wright, who is widely recognized for his role of Eddie King, Jr. in the 1990’s movie The Five Heartbeats and an actor on Oz, was arrested for a DWI. Sources claim that on Sunday morning, he “slammed his Rolls Royce into a parked NYPD patrol car…with two officers sitting inside!”

Police officials approached him to see if he was okay when they smelled alcohol on his breath. They administered him a field sobriety test and checked his blood alcohol content level, both of which he failed. Wright was arrested and booked. Luckily, nobody was seriously injured. Sources stated that they “hope this will be a wake-up call for him.”
