nina thomasNina Thomas, 29, of the Norfolk Police Department was arrested for DUI and assault on January 9, 2012. Deborah Cox, of the Virginia State Police said that troopers responded to a crash on I-664 in Chesapeake early Wednesday morning when the incident occurred. Thomas began working with the Norfolk Police Department in September 2010. After completing a sobriety test, troopers arrested Thomas for DUI, felony assault on a law enforcement officer and refusing to take breathalyzer or blood alcohol test.
