Mark Grace Will Face Jail Time for DUI
Fox Sports reported that Mark Grace, former Chicago Cubs and Arizona Diamondbacks player, “has been sentenced to four months in jail under a work-release program” for his former DUI arrest. On Thursday, Grace finally pleaded to the courts that he was guilty of all his DUI charges. A spokesman from Maricopa County Superior Court stated that Grace’s jail sentence will take effect on February 10. In addition to the jail sentence, Grace was also penalized with two years of probation. As a consequence of his DUI charges, Grace was fired by the Diamondbacks as their broadcast analyst. However it was determined that he was “later invited to participate in a fantasy camp.” Grace is still scheduled to appear in court for trial on March 19 for his pending DUI charges.
