Laguna Beach Star Talan Torriero Arrested for DUI
Former ‘Laguna Beach’ cast member Talan Torriero, who starred on the show during the 2004-2005 season was arrested on September 5, 2012 for DUI. The arrest happened at around 12:30 am near South Coast Highway and Brooks St. in Laguna Beach, CA. Torriero was pulled over for making a left turn where prohibited and after initially speaking with him, officers suspected that he might be driving under the influence of alcohol.
Apparently, Police smelled alcohol on his breath and requested that Torriero complete a field sobriety test, which he did not perform well on. Police found Torriero’s BAC level to be above the .08% legal limit as well. Torriero received a misdemeanor charge for DUI and was booked at the Laguna Beach Police Department. He was released around 7 am the next morning and is due in court on October 15. Torriero hasn’t found much success after his 2 season run on Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County, appearing in several smaller unsuccessful films.
