Rapper Krayzie Bone Gets Probation In DUI Case
Krayzie Bone, a 39 year-old rapper with the group Bone Thugs-n-Harmony reached a plea bargain and will not face jail time regarding his arrest for DUI earlier this year. By pleading no contest, the rapper will avoid jail but must attend an alcohol education class and will be on probation for 3 years. Krayzie Bone, whose real name is Anthony Henderson, was arrested for DUI after being pulled over on a routine traffic stop. When officers questioned the rapper, they suspected he might be under the influence of alcohol and asked him to submit a field sobriety test.
After failing the sobriety tests, police found the rapper’s blood alcohol content (BAC) level to be .10%, which is higher than the legal limit of .08%. According to the California Sheriff’s Department, Henderson was held on $5,000 bond and released the next morning. Upon being released from jail, Krayzie Bone told reporters, “I was just riding home late and got into a little trouble with the law. It is what it is. It happens sometimes. I’m cool now. I’m going home“. Henderson does not have a history of alcohol related offenses and had seemingly learned his lesson after the arrest saying that next time, he would be designating a driver before getting behind the wheel drunk.
