Jenna Jameson, Porn Star Pleads Guilty to DUI in California
Jenna Jameson, 38, better known as one of Hollywood’s most successful porn stars, has plead guilty to a DUI charge she received earlier this year. On May 25, 2012, Jameson crashed her car into a lamppost in Orange County, California. When authorities arrived and suspected that she might be intoxicated, they asked that she submit to a field sobriety test which she did not pass. Prosecutors reported later that her blood alcohol content was .13%, higher than the states legal limit of .08%.
Jameson had initially pleaded not guilty to the DUI charge as well as driving without a valid driver’s license but later changed her plea to not guilty in exchange for the latter charge being dropped. Reports also show that Jameson had alcohol as well as prescription drugs in her vehicle such as Ambien and Suboxone. Nobody else was hurt in the accident and Jameson is said to only have suffered minor injuries. Jenna Jameson retired from acting in pornography and now focuses her time on raising her two sons with her husband Tito Ortiz, a former champion fighter with the UFC.
