Drunk Woman Gets 11th DWI

Drunk Woman Gets 11th DWI

Arkansas Online reported that Sheila Blair, a drunk woman from Benton, Arkansas, was arrested for the 11th time for a DWI. Blair, who is 49 years old, was arrested this past Wednesday after refusing to take a sobriety field test and not giving passage way to an emergency vehicle. Lieutenant Kevin Russell noted that Blair’s “vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed when the officers caught up to it, and upon activation of their emergency equipment the vehicle operator refused to stop…the vehicle continued driving erratically, making unsafe lane changes, and almost struck other vehicles until they finally pulled over for the officer.”

The source stated that Blair previously received parole in 2008. In addition to that, she was also imprisoned for 11 months for a 10-year penalty she received after her 10th DWI. Russell commented that regardless of her criminal history, she still did not carry with her a driver’s license on the day of the incident. Blair was apprehended and taken to the Saline County Jail. Due to her previous DWI arrests, it was determined that she will most likely be receiving a felony charge.
