Drunk Driver Slams Car Into Club

Drunk Driver Slams Car Into Club

The Examiner reported that in Atlanta, a drunk driver lost control of his car, crashed into a nightclub, and pinned three men against it. The accident happened around 2 a.m., when Robby Manley (drunk driver) was driving his red 1967 Chevrolet Camaro while intoxicated. Kim Jones, a legal officer, stated: “As he was laying drags he lost control of the vehicle and drove onto the sidewalk in front of the bar called The Asylum…striking three males on the sidewalk and pinning one of them for an instant, against the building.”  Police officials claimed that the drunk driver tried to flee the scene but was immediately caught. It was reported that both the bar and the car received severe damages. It was noted that two of the victims were employees (“bouncers”) of the bar. Two of the victims were taken to the hospital, and one of them was treated at the scene of action.  Manley received several charges: DUI, violating traffic laws, hit and run, and failure to provide aid. He was transported to Grady Detention center. No further details regarding his case were released.
