Casey Pachall TCU Quarterback Arrested For DUI

Casey Pachall, quarterback for Texas Christian University, was arrested for DUI on October 4, 2012. Apparently, Pachall was driving near the TCU campus in Fort Worth when he ran a stop sign and ran over a curb. When the officer pulled him over, he suspected that Pachall might be under the influence of alcohol and gave him a breathalyzer test, which Pachall failed. Pachall was suspended indefinitely by head coach Gary Patterson who said, “My job as a head coach is to win games, educate our kids and help them with their lives“.

The DUI arrest comes just eight months after Casey Pachall tested positive for marijuana on February 1, which he later issued an apology for in August. The troubled quarterback has also admitted to using ecstasy and cocaine in the past. Pachall’s father, Stan, found out about his son’s DUI arrest from media reports, saying, “You don’t expect things like to happen, it’s just unfortunateWe’re gonna get through this. It’s a wake up call for him; it’s been more than a wake up call –– it’s a wake up call for all of us“. Casey Pachall was released from Mansfield City Jail on $1,000 bond.
