Car Crashes Through Texas Home

Last Saturday, Odessa Police arrested an 18-year man who crashed his car into a house, killing a 72-year old man inside. Frederick Gardea Gonzalez was driving a vehicle at a high rate of speed when he left the road, crossed a field and became airborne. The car went completely through the home of James and Melba Paysinger, coming to a stop in the backyard.

James Paysinger was pronounced dead at a local hospital. His wife suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Gonzalez was charged with manslaughter and assault with a deadly weapon. On Sunday, he remained held on $100,000 bond at the Ector County Detention Center.
