Actress Tami Erin Formally Charged In DUI Case
Pippi Longstockin actress Tami Erin has officially been charged with 4 crimes after her arrest for DUI on December 14, 2013. Erin was formally charged with 1 count of failure to provide proof of insurance, 2 counts of hit-and-run as well as 1 count of DUI by the Los Angeles City Attorney. According to authorities, Tami Erin also refused to submit an alcohol breathalyzer test at the time of her arrest.
Tami Erin was arrested after crashing into 3 separate cars, sending one person to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Witnesses to the incident claim that Erin was heavily intoxicated and completely out of it. Police performed a series of field sobriety tests on Erin, all of which she failed. If Erin is convicted for all 4 counts, she could spend a maximum of 1.5 years in prison.
