ABC Offers Internet Subscription

ABC OFFERS FREE NEWS RELEASE SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE

SACRAMENTO, Calif., April 8 /PRNewswire/ — The California Department
of Alcoholic Beverage Control has initiated a News Release Subscription
System through the Internet which will allow you to automatically receive
any news releases or material of importance for public consumption.

This subscription service is free. To test the system, we are inviting
only bona fide media or industry publications and organizations to
subscribe during the next 30 day period. The subscription period will
begin on April 8, 1996, and close on May 6, 1996. After that date, the
system will be evaluated for 30 to 60 days before reopening subscriptions
to those who meet the above criteria.

Any SMTP or POP3 compliant Internet mail application may be used to
subscribe to the ABC System.

To subscribe, address your mail to: abcnrssabc.ca.gov Leave the
subject line blank. Enter the following on the first line of the
body:

subscribe ABCPress-L MyFirstName MyLastName Enter your real first and
last names where it says MyFirstName, MyLastName. Then send it.

If you do not receive a subscription confirmation within 12 hours,
send E-Mail to [email protected].
