3 Doors Down Musician Todd Harrell Arrested For DUI, Again

todd harrellTodd Harrell, bassist for popular rock band 3 Doors Down, was arrested and charged with DUI on February 18, 2014 in D’Iberville, Mississippi. According to police, Harrell was found “slumped over the steering wheel” of his vehicle, which was stopped at an intersection. Police say that Harrell “showed signs of impairment and was arrested and charged with 2nd offense DUI“. No other vehicles seem to have been involved in the incident.

This is actually the second time Todd Harrell has been arrested for DUI. In April 2013, Harrell was arrested after a deadly DUI incident and charged with vehicular homicide. The 3 Doors Down bassist was speeding in Nashville, Tennessee when he clipped a pickup truck, sending it crashing down an embankment and killing the driver. After the fatal incident, Harrell admitted to police that he had mixed hard cider and prescription Xanax before getting behind the wheel. That case is still pending.
