He started his career as a prosecutor in Florida at the State Attorney’s Office in 1998. As Assistant State Attorney, William DiRenzo handled thousands of criminal cases as a senior trial attorney. During his time as an Assistant State Attorney, Mr. DiRenzo was promoted to lead prosecutor in the felony trial division where he was responsible trying cases ranging from Possession of Cocaine to Attempted Murder. He also supervised three other Assistant State Attorneys. Attorney DiRenzo left the State Attorney’s Office so he could focus his legal knowledge on defending those who have been charged with criminal offenses. Now as a defense attorney, William DiRenzo has handled criminal cases in nearly every county in the state of Florida. His past clients have included police officers, firefighters, doctors, lawyers, members of the United States Armed forces, and public figures.
