UFC Fighter Hermes Franca Charged with DUI in Florida

Hermes Franca arrested for drunk driving in Jupiter, Florida.

Ultimate Fighting Championship lightweight Hermes Franca was arrested for drunk driving in Florida early Thursday morning. Franca was booked at the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office around 2:30 am. He was released shortly after 10:00 am. The charges include first offense Florida DUI.

Franca lives in Jupiter, and hours before his arrest had attended the WEC 36 match between Faber and Brown at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, California. Franca, 34, is a five year veteran with UFC. His last fight was October 25th in Chicago when he defeated Marcus Aurelio.
