Drunk Father Kills Daughter Walking Her Dog

Mother Makes Tearful Plea in Court

Merced, CA - A man arrested for drunkenly running over and killing his own child faces DUI and manslaughter charges in Merced County in California's Central Valley. According to the California Highway Patrol, Silva was driving his SUV home on Tuesday night when he ran into his 7-year-old daughter, who had gone out to take the dog for a walk.

At the trial, the wife of Jesus Silva told the county judge that she forgives her husband, that he was a wonderful father, and that he merits the right to be attend his daughter's funeral. The judge agreed to grant Silva a pass to be present at his daughter's funeral, but also doubled the bail to $150,000 Friday on DUI and manslaughter charges.

This is sad man. Did this guy truly love his kid? I mean this is horriblem he was wrong from jump for dwi!!!! That alone warrants punishment. Then to top off he murdered his own child! OMG!! I feel for the family. Hope they can heal and move on... For the mother. I hear your pain but this man is wrong. Do not ptoect him. Think of this child. Sweet child. Did the dog die too? Either way, think of yourself and this baby girl. Let him contemplate on his actions. Accident.... This is stupid. And sad. Prayers for the family. And child in heaven. He is an asshole. How drunk was he. Sorry dude. You truly fucked up.

although the guys a drunkin idiot he doesnt deserve manslaughter it was an accident?who in their right mind runs over their own kid on purpose he deserves his jail time but hey keep in mind the guys not a blood thirsty murder let him go to his daughters funeral im sure he feels like he doesnt deserve to live already without all of us being bitches.accident!

i know this man her daughter was my best friend and right now i wonder what he is doing and what lulu would look like at the age of 14 right now i miss her so much and i feel like it is my fault that she is dead but i know that it isn't i wish she was still alive because since the day she died one of my other friends have died by a car too and i hope that does not happen again:(
