Paris Hilton’s Brother Nabbed for California DUI in Los Angeles

Barron Hilton charged with DUI in LA Tuesday morning.

Barron Hilton, the 18-year-old brother of Paris, was arrested for suspicion of a DUI in Los Angeles, California Tuesday just after 8:00 am. Hilton was taken to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Lost Hills station where he was booked for a DUI and later released after posting $5,000 bail.

The sheriff’s department was alerted to a black Mercedes weaving on the highway in Malibu, sometimes driving into the wrong direction of traffic. A witness who followed Hilton until he stopped made him sit on a bus bench until deputies arrived. The California Highway Patrol is investigating whether a female passenger in Hilton’s vehicle may have been driving the car earlier and involved in an accident.

Barron Hilton reportedly registered a blood alcohol content of 0.14%, nearly twice the over-21 year old legal limit in California for driving while intoxicated. He was charged with a California DUI, a misdemeanor, as well as having a fake driver’s license, which is a felony.
