Nicole Richie Regrets California DUI
Actress says she will never forgive herself for drunk driving in Los Angeles.
Nicole Richie has publicly expressed regret for the driving under the influence in LA last year. Now the parent of a five month old daughter, she said that a news report of children killed by drunk drivers made her feel like the worst person in the world for trying to avoid responsibility for her act. She also promised to avoid future trouble in order to set a good example for her daughter.
Richie was arrested for driving the wrong way on a Los Angeles freeway while under the influence of alcohol and drugs. The star of the reality show 'Simple Life' spent just 80 minutes in jail for that offense.
Richie said, "There's absolutely no way I will do anything like that again." The responsibility of parenting is important to her now and she wants to show her daughter "the right path".
