Kiefer Sutherland Arrested for DUI – LA DUI Attorney
Star of ‘24’ Kiefer Sutherland was busted in West Hollywood Monday night for DUI. Initial BAC results were over the legal limit.
Kiefer Sutherland, who plays Jack Bauer on the Fox series ‘24’, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence Monday night. Police pulled over the 40-year old actor around shortly after 1:00 am after he made an illegal u-turn at the intersection of La Cienega and Beverly boulevards.
The results of a preliminary breath test revealed a blood alcohol content above the legal limit of 0.08%. Sutherland was booked for misdemeanor DUI at the Los Angeles Police Department Hollywood station and released on $25,000 bail. Sutherland was reportedly “cooperative and mellow.”
Sutherland had been at the Fox sponsored ‘Fall Eco-Casino Party.’ It is Sutherland’s second DUI as he was arrested in 2004.
Sutherland won a Best Dramatic Actor Emmy last year for his role as Counter Terrorist Unit agent Jack Bauer. He has starred in several films, including ‘The Lost Boys’, ‘Stand By Me’, ‘Flatliners’ and ‘A Few Good Men’.
A court date for Kiether Sutherland's DUI case has been set for October 16, 2007.
