NBA Star Busted for DUI in Denver, Colorado
Denver Nuggets, Carmelo Anthony, arrested for drunk driving in Colorado
Denver Nuggets player Carmelo Anthony was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence in Colorado early Monday morning. Police pulled over Anthony on Interstate 25 around 4:00 am for failing to dim his lights and straddling two lanes of the highway.
The 23-year old NBA All-Star reportedly failed a field sobriety test was charged with DUI and booked at police headquarters. He also submitted to a breath test, though the results will not be known for about two weeks. Anthony was later released to another ‘sober’ party. He is due in court May 14.
The Denver Nuggets defeated the Houston Rockets Sunday night, though Anthony played his worst game of the season.
