Khloe Kardashian checked into the Lynnwood Century Detention Center last Friday to serve her jail sentence for probation violation stemming from a drunk driving charge. Though her jail term was supposed to be for 30 days, she was out of the facility less than five hours later and spent less than three hours in a cell.

The 24-year old sister of Kim Kardashian on the reality show ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ was sentenced to jail for not completing terms of her probation form a 2007 arrest for driving under the influence in Los Angeles. She admitted to not attending a court mandated alcohol awareness program nor the community service.

She arrived at the Lynwood facility and was booked at 8:52 am. She actually entered the jail at 10:36 am and was released at 1:29 pm, for a total of 173 minutes of incarceration. Khloe joins a list of actresses and personalities who have had stays at Lynwood due to arrests for drunk driving in LA. Nicole Richey was released after just 82 minutes in the facility, though Paris Hilton was required to spend 23 days at the now well known jail.

Some of the charges he could be facing include sexual assault of a minor, lewd public exposure, drug possession and public intoxication.

Dick allegedly pulled down the tank top of a 17-year old at Buffalo Wild Wings in Murrietta, California. Police then responded to a man urinating outside the bar, stopping a truck that was fleeing the scene. Dick was in the front seat of the vehicle. Police placed him in a line up with other men at the scene and the female victim and another woman positively identified Dick.

Dick reportedly had Xanax and marijuana in his pockets at the time of the arrest and witnesses say he was extremely intoxicated. He was charged with California DUI in 1999 following a hit-and-run accident. Dick has repeatedly entered rehab, the latest effort following a 2006 Comedy Central roast where he licked the faces of Farrah Fawcett and Carrie Fisher and allegedly groped a reporter.

A band member and a relative of another band member are suing Tejano star Emilio Navaira over an incident of driving while intoxicated in Houston, TX. Emilio was driving the band's tour bus when he struck a concrete barrier on West Loop 610 at about 5:00 am last March. Emilio was later determined to be driving under the influence of alcohol at the time of the wreck.

Daniel Sandoval, drummer with the Grupo Rio band, and Pedro Perez are asking for unspecified damages for injuries. Sandoval received back and head injuries from the accident. Emilio suffered a brain injury after being ejected from the bus through the windshield. Immediately after the accident, the band members only expressed concern for the well being of Emilio.

Shortly after the accident, it was revealed that Emilio had a blood alcohol content of .19%, more than twice the legal limit for intoxicated driving in Texas. In addition the singer had two previous Texas DWI arrests. Emilio Navaira, 45, still faces charges of Texas DWI and felony intoxication assault for injuring five bus passengers during the accident.

The lawsuit cites "serious, permanent and disabling injuries" received by Sandoval and Perez. Sandoval required stitches to close a head wound and says the suit is more for lingering back problems. Perez is the grandfather of the band's bajo sexto player, Eddie Perez. In a San Antonio Express News article last March, the younger Perez said he and his father were not injured in the accident.

Leben became a star in the first season of the reality show ‘The Ultimate Fighter’. He started his UFC career with six wins before losing to the current fight champ. Leben moved to Hawaii to train and teach at Icon Fitness. His DUI defense attorney said that attempts had been made to transfer his probation to Hawaii but they were unsuccessful.

Tejano singer Emilio Navaira was driving under the influence of alcohol when he crashed the band’s tour bus in Houston in March. Harris County officials say that Texas DWI and intoxication assault charges may be filed soon.

Navaira has suffered critical injuries from being thrown through the windshield when he crashed the bus on Loop 610 in west Houston very early Easter morning. He underwent two brain surgeries, and doctors at Memorial Hermann hospital at the Texas Medical Center say his condition is improving. Four band members were treated for minor injuries and released and one member remains in the hospital in good condition with stomach injuries.

In a report released by the Bellaire Police Department, Navaira was driving while intoxicated when he slammed into traffic barrels and a concrete divider on March 23. The Harris County prosecutor said that Navaira, 45, had a commercial driver’s license but not a ‘passenger endorsement’ as required to operate a tour bus. That is a Class C misdemeanor.

Navaira has a previous Texas DWI in San Antonio stemming from an accident in January 2005, and he is paying a fine for another Bexar County drunk driving arrest in 2000. According to Texas DWI laws, an ignition interlock device is required for motorists arrested for 2 or more arrests for driving while intoxicated. An alternative is to have the offender wear an alcohol detecting ankle bracelet and take medication that reacts violently with alcohol. A San Antonio judge waived all of the above requirements.

The 2005 case is still pending, as Navaira’s DWI defense attorney has filed seven motions for suppression of evidence. Because of the 2000 offense however, a conviction in either the recent Houston drunk driving incident or the 2005 San Antonio DWI would raise the remaining case to a felony.

Navaira’s fans have expressed more concern about his recovery than the outcome of the Texas DWI cases.

If you have been arrested for Driving While Intoxicated in Harris County you will need to hire a Houston DWI attorney.

The singer must complete the jail sentence before May 28. He was also ordered to enroll in an 18-month alcohol awareness program and pay a $2000 fine. Weiland will be on probation for four years.

Weiland’s November 21 arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol in California was his second DUI offense. He was involved in a non-injury, single car accident and reportedly had a blood alcohol content just above the legal limit of .08% for intoxication.

Weiland was singer for the rock group ‘Velvet Revolver’ until he was released from the band April 1. He rejoined his former band-mates ‘Stone Temple Pilots’ and is scheduled to participate in their upcoming US tour.

Richie Sambora agreed to a plea agreement with prosecutors just hours after he had been formally charged with driving under the influence in California. The deal calls for Sambora to plead no contest to driving with a blood alcohol content above the legal limit. In exchange the district attorney dropped the more serious charge of California DUI. The distinction between the charges is that having a blood alcohol content above .08% is a machine measurement whereas DUI is a more subjective analysis of a driver's ability to operate a vehicle.

Sambora must also complete a three month alcohol awareness class and pay court fees. He is prohibited from having any measurable amount of alcohol or drugs in his system while driving during his three probation term.

The 48-year old guitarist for the rock group Bon Jovi was arrested for drunk driving in Laguna Beach, California on March 25. His BAC was reportedly .13%. Because Sambora's daughter and another child were in the car at the time of the arrest, police requested that misdemeanor charges of child endangerment be filed. Prosecutors however said that there had to be additional aggrevated circumstances to make that case.

morning for suspicion of driving while intoxicated in Minnesota and
fighting with officers.

The former defensive end for the Minnesota Vikings was seen running a
stop sign in his SUV and racing through the streets of Minneapolis at
speeds up to 60 miles per hour. Eller reportedly did not stop until
he reached his garage, at which point he refused to exit his vehicle.
When he finally did, he threw a punch at the police officers.

Police used a Taser on the 66-year old Eller and, with the help of
back-up officers, he was eventually subdued. Eller refused to submit
to a breath or blood test and he was booked for Minnesota DWI at the
Hennepin County jail. He was also charged with fleeing police and
striking an officer.

Eller played for the Minnesota Vikings between 1964-78 and was part
of the famed 'Purple People Eaters' defensive squad. He played in
four Super Bowls with the Vikings, and in six Pro Bowls. Eller was
inducted into the Football Hall of Fame in 2004.
