About the Northern California DUI Attorneys at Kapsack & Bair

Bruce Kapsack graduated from Plymouth State College and received a law degree from the American University. Mr. Kapsack worked for the New York Legal Aid Society as a public defender where he was noted for his successful trial record and his special training in DNA, homicide investigation and high profile cases.

Mr. Kapsack moved to California to start his own practice though he later joined a large criminal law practice that focused on DUI defense where his innovative defense strategies were quickly recognized. Bruce Kapsack started his own firm once again and since then he has successfully represented hundreds of California DUI clients and gained the respect of peers, prosecutors and judges.

DUI Attorney Bruce Kapsack is a member of the California State Bar and a Founding Member of the National College for DUI Defense. He is recognized as a specialist by the California Deuce Defenders, and he is on the DUI Defense Committee of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Mr. Kapsack regularly lectures fellow attorneys on the police misconduct and DUI defense.

Hudson T. Bair graduated from the Golden Gate School of Law in San Francisco. He has extensive experience with personal injury and DUI cases. Mr. Bair is a member of the California Bar, the Association of California Deuce Defenders and the National College of DUI Defense. He is a certified Drug Recognition Screener and a certified Instructor in Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. He continues to attend specialized DUI training sessions to enhance his defense skills. He uses this special background, and his negotiation and trial skills, to achieve the best possible case results.

Amy Treanor Morell graduated from the California Western School of Law in San Diego. She is a former Deputy District Attorney, and operated her own DUI defense firm before joining Kapsack & Bair. Ms. Morell is a board member of the California DUI Lawyers Association and a member of Women Defenders, the Alameda County Bar Association and the California State Bar. She is licensed to practice in all California State and Federal Courts. She continues to develop her knowledge of DUI laws and defense strategies by regularly attending DUI conferences and programs.
